Integration with XTEN
Prerequisites:
- Sales Rep on the quote must have an active account in XTEN. XTEN requires an email address to authenticate the API connection.
Note: The q360 contact record linked to the UserID must have an email address populated. This email address must match XTen-AV login. System uses the SalesRep on the quote to determine the UserID/email for the API authentication.
Q360 Configuration:
- Maintenance Menu > API Configuration > XTen
- Enter API Key (acquired from XTen AV)
- Enter Price Source (this controls whether the price of line item should be set based on XTen or the price from Q360)
- Enter Cost Source (this controls whether the cost of line item should be set based on XTen or the price from Q360)
Using the Integration:
Push Q360 Quote to XTen AV:
- Create a Quote in Q360
- Click on the Extended Menu > Select “Export to XTen.” This will push the quote and customer record in XTen AV
Import XTen BOM into Q360 Quote:
- Open Q360 Quote
- Click on the Extended Menu > Select “Import from XTen.” This will import BOM from XTen into Q360
Import Rules:
- Price/Cost of quote item will be set based on the API Configuration
- If part# being imported doesn’t exist in Q360, it will still add it to quote item as “Unverified item”
- XTen Design will be imported to Group 1 i.e. Huddle Room.
- XTen Equipment will be imported to Group 2 i.e. Video, Audio and Accessories.
