Five grouping fields — Group1 through Group5 — are now available on project schedule tasks. These fields use the same captions and dropdown options as the corresponding Group fields on Contract Item line items, allowing teams to apply consistent grouping labels across both tasks and contract line items.

Enable the Group Columns

The Group1–Group5 columns are hidden by default in the Project–Task and Task–Sub-Task grids. To make them visible:

1. Open the Project–Task or Task–Sub-Task grid.
2. Use the column chooser to enable Group1 through Group5 as needed.

Set a Group Value on a Task

Once the columns are visible, click the Group field cell on a task row and select a value from the dropdown. The available options match the Group field options used on Contract Item line items.

Values are saved per task and persist after the grid is refreshed.
